The old wooden wharf houses at Bryggen – a Unesco world heritage site, is the most famous sight in Bergen.

The heart of Bergen is the Fish market square, located in the inner part of the picturesque waterfront bay, the older part of the town.
A short walk from the Fish market you will find the Funicular; a steep railroad taking you to mount Floyen, offering a marvellous view of the town below.

Bergen is beautifully located on the western coast of Norway, with easy access to main Norwegian fjords – the Sognefjord & the Hardangerfjord; the ideal starting point for fjord tours and fjord cruises.

The amazing coastal area of Bergen consists of several scenic island communities.
Until 1991, it was not possible to reach Bergen by car without crossing a fjord by ferry! Now several long tunnels & bridges ease the access to Bergen by car.
