Booking and payment procedures

1.) Each item of the tour packages is on request, hence you will
not receive an immediate on-line booking confirmation
|
2.) When the items have been confirmed in writing (from the
hotels, steamers etc.) we will send you the booking confirmation by
e-mail, including your booking reference number and the deposit/final
invoice
|
3.) If you don't receive a booking confirmation within 2 days
(Monday to Friday) we might have problems reaching you by e-mail. In
this case please contact our booking department directly on
booking@fjordtravel.no

4.) Payments can be made by credit card or bank transfer, and
the invoice includes all required details for how to make the payments.
There is generally a deposit of NOK 2000 per person upon booking, while
the final payments are due 45 days prior to service start.
Some tours require a deposit of NOK 4000 per person upon booking

5.) We will keep the reservation until the day after due date of
the required payments (deposit or final payments by late reservations).
If the payments are not received your reservation will automatically be
cancelled without further notice
|
6.) When the final payments have been made you will receive a
copy of the first hotel voucher along with directions of how to find the
hotel. The documents will be e-mailed to you not later than 2 weeks
prior to the tour start date
|
7.) Depending on the chosen tour the travel documents A. will be
delivered to the first hotel in Norway before your arrival B. will be
e-mailed to you after the final payments have been made C. the vouchers
will be e-mailed to you while train combination tickets will be picked
up at the train station

Travel & cancellation insurance:
we advise you to arrange for a travel & cancellation insurance in your
home country.
