Itinerary

Norwegian Christmas Cruise - 12 nights

Enjoy an authentic Norwegian Christmas onboard!

Why not celebrate a traditional Christmas in Norway and enter the New Year on board the Norwegian Coastal Steamer?
This is truly an exotic journey! From Bergen in the south to the North Cape and Kirkenes in the north you will be surrounded by breathtaking nature. You will see the sky as you never have seen it before; As you pass the Arctic Circle, the sky is simply dark, starry and vast  as the sun remains below the horizon at this time of year. And if the weather is clear, there is a good chance you will see the Amazing Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis).
Christmas on board:
Christmas will be celebrated on board according to Norwegian traditions, with making of Christmas decorations, Church services in some of the ports, Christmas Meals, Boxing day dance and finally a festive and a toast for the New Year.
During the roundtrip the cruise guide will give a talk on Norwegian Christmas Traditions, Norwegian Culture, Northern Lights, Sami Culture and History.
