Bergen - evening Cruise departure
Spend
the day in Bergen before your afternoon transfer to the ship. Cruise
departure at 2230.
Services included:
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the ship. Outside cabin w.
private facilities, 5 nights. Evening meal onboard
Cruise Floro-Alesund-Molde
Arrival to the Art Nouveau town of Alesund at noon. Spend 2 1/2 hours at
leisure in the city before the ship sails towards the
coastal towns of Molde and Kristiansund

MS Trollfjord: Dec 24-25 (extra night in Alesund due to the
Christmas celebration)

Cruise Trondheim-Rorvik
The Trondheim fjord and the picturesque, historic city of
Trondheim. Spend 3 1/2 hours at leisure in the city, or take
an optional sightseeing tour.

MS Finnmarken: Dec 24-25 (extra night in Trondheim due
to the Christmas celebration)

Cruise Bodo-Lofoten Islands
Cross the Arctic Circle to Bodo, with 3 1/2 hours to explore
the city. Then on to the Lofoten Islands with calls at the
fishing villages of Stamsund & Svolvaer.

Cruise Vesteralen Islands- arrival to Tromso
Into a magnificent archipelago to the north, then on to the university town of Tromso, also known as the 'Paris of the
North'. Disembark at 14.30, and check in at the close by
Radisson SAS hotel.

Optional:
Add an adventurous Northern Lights evening trip with
Dog sledding & a traditional Sami meal in a Lavvo
(traditional Sami tent).

Dec 27/28/29: Tromso-Oslo
Flight Tromso-Oslo.
Overnight at the centrally located 4* Bristol hotel.
Services included: Flight, 4* hotel in Oslo w.
breakfast (day 8).
Climate & clothing:
The temperature normally varies between +5 and -10 degrees Celsius
depending on the latitude. The mean temperature in Tromso in
January is only -3 degrees C, due to the coastal climate. In Bergen
the mean temperature in January is above 0.
For the outdoor sightseeing / activities make sure to bring a warm
sweater, windproof & warm outer jacket with a hood, windproof
& warm trousers, warm & waterproof winter shoes, mittens and
a woolen hat.
There is no formal dress code for the evenings onboard. As
the Christmas Eve (December 24) is the main celebration in Norway, most
passengers will dress up a bit for this special occasion.
