Northern Lights break starting & finishing in Oslo, 4 nights
Spend the first night in Oslo, then 1 night in the Arctic
"top of the world" town Kirkenes at a centrally located hotel, then 1 night at
the amazing Snow Hotel - located outside the lights of the town, with Arctic
dinner in their Gabba restaurant.
The first evening in kirkenes you will be picked up for a 5 hour Dog
sledding/Northern Lights trip to the Arctic wilderness of the Pasvik valley,
with evening meal en route.
The trip finishes with a night in the centre of Oslo or at an airport hotel at
your choice.

Individual arrival to Oslo. Check in at the centrally
located elegant Bristol hotel.
Take the SAS airport bus directly to the hotel from the
Oslo/Gardermoen airport

Day 2 -Oslo-Kirkenes, "top of the world"
Flight to the Arctic town of Kirkenes. located by the
Barents sea close to the Russian border.
Individual arrival to the centrally located Thon Hotel Kirkenes.
Hunting the lights & wilderness Dog

Time to explore the town before you will be picked up at your
hotel at 17:00 hs for an adventurous 5 hour Northern Lights trip to the
wilderness of the Pasvik valley, with Husky dog sledding & a wilderness evening
meal served en route. Transfer to your hotel after the trip.
Day 3 Overnight at the Snow Hotel
Enjoy an unforgettable dinner & overnight stay in the exotic
Snow hotel in Kirkenes - a beautiful piece of architecture with ice
sculptures, surrounded by live reindeers, as the Snow hotel is situated in the
Reindeer Safari Park.
You can also take part in the feeding of the reindeers.
Transfer by minibus from your hotel in Kirkenes (10 mins), followed by a 3 course Arctic dinner in the exotic Lavvo restaurant, overnight in warm sleeping bags, sauna in the
morning & breakfast.

Day 4 - Kirkenes-Oslo
Take the scheduled airport bus or a taxi to the airport.

choice).

Aurora Borealis - the amazing Northern Lights
The Northern Lights; nature's own light show, are solar winds that meet the atmosphere in a zone around the magnetic North Pole, forming arches, waves and curls of light moving across the sky, with sudden rays of light shooting down from space.
The Northern Lights activity takes place all year in all types of weather. However, to actually see the lights, the weather has to be dark and clear (no guarantee!). In Tromso it is dark between August and April, with the main Northern Lights season from November to April. The Northern Lights are visible from the afternoon until the middle of the night.
