Day 2 - Oslo - Trondheim

a scenic train ride from Oslo across the
Dovrefjell Mountain Plateau & National Park to the historic city of Trondheim.
Check in at the centrally located 4* Radisson SAS Royal Garden hotel or

Day 3- Trondheim
Cruise Departure*
Board the Norwegian Coastal Voyage ship before noon and enjoy the 4 nights
Northern Lights - Aurora cruise from Trondheim to Kirkenes.

Day 4 - Cruise,
crossing the Arctic Circle
Arrival to Bodo at noon, with time to visit the city. Then
crossing the Vest Fjord heading towards the magnificent, sheer Lofot
Wall and the Lofoten Islands.

Day 5 - Cruise arrival to Tromso
Into a magnificent archipelago to the north before the arrival to Tromso at 14:30. Disembark and check in to a centrally located
4* hotel.
Northern Lights Trip with Dog sledding
In the evening enjoy an adventurous Northern Lights trip with dog
sledding and a warm meal in a lavvo (Sami tent).

Day 6 - Tromso - Oslo

Aurora Borealis - the amazing Northern Lights
The Northern Lights; nature's own light show, are solar winds that meet the atmosphere in a zone around the magnetic North Pole, forming arches, waves and curls of light moving across the sky, with sudden rays of light shooting down from space.
The Northern Lights activity takes place all year in all types of weather. However, to actually see the lights, the weather has to be dark and clear (no guarantee!). In Tromso it is dark between August and April, with the main Northern Lights season from November to April. The Northern Lights are visible from the afternoon until the middle of the night.
