Arctic Gourmet Dinner (price A)
Enjoy Emma's famous, tiny gourmet restaurant in the centre of Tromso,
with her 5 courses gourmet dinner based on excellent local products. Welcome
drink included.

Day 3 - Northern Lights Trip w. dog sledding
Optional activities during the day, then enjoy a 4-5 hour
Northern Lights/Aurora adventure trip, with a dog sledding
trip and a warm meal in a lavvo (Sami tent). Services included:
escorted activity/dog sledding trip w/meal, hotel w/breakfast
Day 4 - Northern Lights Adventure Trip
You will be picked up in the centre of Tromso in the early
evening for an adventurous trip to the exotic wilderness of the
Tamok valley. Due to the geographical
location the climate is drier and colder than in Tromso, thus
offering a maximum chance of seeing the amazing Northern Lights.
The visit includes a traditional, hot meal and social time by the
open fire in the Sami tent. Also included: Insulated body suit. Warm
shoes, gloves, headwear & head lamp. English speaking guide.

Day 5 - Tromso-Oslo
Optional activities in Tromso. Afternoon
flight to Oslo. Overnight
at an airport hotel or in the city (at your
choice).

Aurora
Borealis - Northern Lights
We have chosen the exotic city of Tromso as our main Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) destination, as the city is ideally located in the middle of the Northern Lights zone. The Northern Lights; nature's own light show, are solar winds that meet the atmosphere in a zone around the magnetic North Pole, forming arches, waves and curls of light moving across the sky, with sudden rays of light shooting down from space.
The Northern Lights activity takes place all year in all types of weather. However, to actually see the lights, the weather has to be dark and clear (no guarantee!). In Tromsų it is dark between August and April, with the main Northern Lights season from November to April. The Northern Lights are visible from the afternoon until the middle of the night.
