Day 3 - Northern Lights Trip w. dog sledding
Optional activities during the day, then a 4-5 hour evening adventure trip to the Tromso Wilderness Centre, with a dog sledding
trip and a warm meal in a lavvo (Sami tent).

Day 4 - Northern Lights Adventure Trip
You will be picked up in the centre of Tromso in the early
evening for an adventurous trip to the exotic wilderness of the
Tamok valley. Due to the geographical
location the climate is drier and colder than in Tromso, thus
offering a maximum chance of seeing the amazing Northern Lights.
The visit includes a traditional, hot meal and social time by the
open fire in the Sami tent. Also included: Insulated body suit. Warm
shoes, gloves, headwear & head lamp. English speaking guide.

Day 5 - Tromso-Bergen
Flight from Tromso via Oslo to Bergen, allowing you time to explore the
picturesque Hanseatic city of Bergen.

Day 6 - Bergen
Spend the day at leisure in Bergen - see the old Bryggen Wharf, the Fish
market, take the Funicular railroad to the top of mount Floyen- offering you a
marvelous view of the city and the surrounding fjords & islands...

Day 7 - Bergen-Oslo
The "Norway in a Nutshell"® tour:
Morning train from Bergen to Voss,
connecting bus to the
Sognefjord
& the fjord village of Gudvangen,
then a 2 hour ferry cruise on the narrow, UNESCO Naeroyfjord to the
village of Flam. Board the famous Flam Railway
to the mountain station of Myrdal, where you change to the Bergen line, taking
you to Oslo. Late evening arrival.

Aurora
Borealis - Northern Lights
We have chosen the exotic city of Tromsų as our main Northern Lights (Aurora
Borealis) destination, as the city is ideally located in the middle of the
Northern Lights zone. The Northern Lights; nature's own light show, are solar
winds that meet the atmosphere in a zone around the magnetic North Pole, forming
arches, waves and curls of light moving across the sky, with sudden rays of
light shooting down from space.
The Northern Lights activity takes place all year in all types of weather.
However, to actually see the lights, the weather has to be dark and clear (no
guarantee!). In Tromsų it is dark between August and April, with the main
Northern Lights season from November to April. The Northern Lights are visible
from the afternoon until the middle of the night. Read more:
