What are the current Covid-19 restrictions in Norway?

The travel restrictions upon entry into Norway have been lifted, as of 12 February 2022. Please be aware that other rules can apply if you have connecting flights in another country.

For the latest news about the corona situation, visit The Norwegian Directorate of Health’s official website.

Do I need to apply for a visitor’s visa to Norway?

If you are traveling from a country outside the EU/EEA, you will most likely need to apply for a visitor visa to Norway. EU/EEA citizens do not need a visa to travel to Norway, but if you plan to stay longer than three months you must register with the police.

To find out if you need to apply for a visa, visit The Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) official website.

Kindly note that Fjord Travel Norway does not issue invitation letters. For all visa-assistance, please contact the Norwegian Embassy in your country.
