One-way Fjord Cruise Package from Bergen to Oslo – 4 days
Enjoy quality time in Bergen and Oslo, enriched by the Sognefjord cruise and the iconic Flåm Railway experience.
Your journey begins in Bergen, Norway's historic gateway to the fjords. The city immediately welcomes you with its practical mix of working harbor life and cultural heritage. At the wooden wharf of Bryggen, a UNESCO World Heritage site, merchants still conduct business in the same buildings where Hanseatic traders once stored their goods.
From Bergen, set sail on the majestic Sognefjord, Norway's longest and deepest fjord. The Sognefjord, often referred to as the "King of the Fjords," provides an opportunity to connect with Norway's dramatic landscapes. Each bend reveals another chapter of Norway's geological story, written in layers of stone and cascading waterfalls.
The Flåm Railway journey transforms into an intimate dance with the landscape. As the train climbs through twenty tunnels carved by hand, you'll witness the gradual transformation from fjord to mountain realm. Through the windows, watch as gentle pastoral scenes give way to wild mountain plateaus. Each clickety-clack of the rails marks another step into Norway's vertical world.
The Bergen Line to Oslo unveils Norway's high country. This isn't just a train ride – it's a journey through Norway's changing faces, from maritime west to urban east. As Oslo's modern skyline rises to greet you, the city presents itself as a masterful blend of innovation and tradition
Optional fjord cruises in Oslo offer a different perspective of the capital, where islands dotted with summer cottages create a maritime playground for locals. Here, modern Norwegians continue their ancient connection to the sea, though now with paddleboards and sailboats rather than longships.
