Based in Tromsø (aka. the Arctic's coolest city, literally and figuratively), this arctic wildlife and aurora tour packs more magic into a long weekend than most trips manage in a week. We're talking activities like dog sledding under dancing green lights, Tromsø aurora hunting with activity guides who know every secret spot.
Our Tromsø winter wildlife tour includes multiple northern lights experiences at night, and during the day, you can get close with Arctic animals (spoiler alert: reindeer are even cooler in real life). Whether you're racing through snowy landscapes on a snowmobile or cozying up in a traditional Sami tent, every moment of this short arctic adventure in Norway is designed to blow your mind.

Welcome to your Arctic playground
Touch down in Tromsø and feel that Arctic buzz immediately — this is where your Tromso aurora and animals adventure kicks off! Make your way to your centrally located hotel (we've picked the perfect spot right in the heart of the action). Once you've dropped your bags, the real fun begins.
Tonight, you've got two incredible ways to start your Norway arctic escape package: Join our expert aurora hunters on a minibus chase to the best viewing spots (these folks know where the lights love to dance), or head to the Aurora Safari Camp deep in the wilderness. Picture this: traditional Sami lavvus, crackling campfires, hot chocolate in hand, and the northern lights putting on their nightly show above. Either way, you're in for something special — this is what aurora viewing Norway is all about!

Arctic adventures from dawn to dancing lights
Wake up to that crisp Arctic morning air (trust us, it's addictive) and fuel up with a proper Norwegian breakfast. Today's your chance to dive deep into this Norway wildlife safari experience!
The day is yours to explore — maybe check out the Arctic Cathedral (it's basically Instagram gold), visit the Polar Museum, or go full Arctic mode with an optional dog-sledding adventure. These huskies are basically professional athletes with the enthusiasm of puppies — it's impossible not to smile.
As darkness creeps in (which happens deliciously early up here), it's time for round two of your Tromso aurora hunting mission. Pick your poison: glide through the snow on a magical reindeer sledding experience, rev up a snowmobile for an adrenaline-fueled aurora chase, enjoy a gourmet dinner cruise while the lights dance overhead, or join another guided Northern Lights safari. Each option offers a completely different way to experience this arctic wildlife and aurora tour — and honestly, they're all incredible.

As your last Arctic evening arrives, we've lined up another selection of northern lights experiences. Whether you choose the peaceful reindeer sledding, the thrill of snowmobiling, a farewell dinner cruise, or one final aurora safari, this last night of your Tromso winter wildlife tour is designed to end your journey on the highest note possible.
