You adventure starts in Oslo, the capital of Norway. Oslo is a hub for incoming flights from Europe and the United States, making it a natural starting point for your Norwegian adventure. After a day settling in, you will travel on to explore Røros, a charming mining town steeped in history and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Wander through its streets adorned with well-preserved wooden buildings and learn about its rich cultural heritage. Venture onwards to Trondheim. Explore its historic landmarks, including the iconic Nidaros Cathedral and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
From Trondheim the adventure continues on a short cruise with Hurtigruten or Havila Voyages to the coastal town of Ålesund, renowned for its Art Nouveau architecture and scenic vistas. On you way to Ålesund you will experience the Atlantic Ocean Road, a marvel of engineering that winds its way along the rugged coastline.
After a day with relaxing and strolling along the picturesque waterfront of Ålesund lined with colorful buildings, you will embark on a cruise along the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord, renowned for its stunning landscapes. In Åndalsnes, board the spectacular Rauma Line train for an unforgettable journey through the scenic Rauma valley. Admire the dramatic vistas of the Troll Wall mountain cliff, one of Europe's tallest vertical rock faces, as you glide alongside the meandering Rauma River and traverse breathtaking bridges that span the landscape.
Upon reaching the tiny Dombås mountain station, transfer to the main Dovre Line train, continuing your journey through the picturesque Gudbrandsdal valley towards Oslo. Sit back, relax, and soak in the beauty of the Norwegian countryside as you make your way towards the capital.

At the time of booking, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total price is required. This deposit is refundable only if we are unable to confirm your booking. Full payment is due 65 days before departure for tours including a cruise with Hurtigruten or Havila Voyages, and 45 days before departure for all other tours. If you book within 65 or 45 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
No, taxi transportation from the hotel to the excursion or the next part of your journey is generally not included in the package, unless specifically stated in your itinerary.

It's not possible to choose the departure times of the trains. We select the departure that best suits the trip.
