3-day art tour in Norway's street art capital

This 3-day Stavanger art tour package focuses on the city's street art scene developed through 20 years of the NuArt Festival. Two nights in central Stavanger with an included two-hour guided street art walking tour revealing murals and installations throughout the city.

The NuArt Festival has brought international street artists to Stavanger since 2001, transforming the city into one of Europe's significant urban art destinations. Your included guided tour covers works by artists including Dolk, DotDotDot, and Sandra Chevrier on building facades, parking structures, and public spaces. The guide explains the festival's history, individual artists' backgrounds, and how the street art transformed Stavanger's urban landscape. Gamle Stavanger's 173 preserved white wooden houses from the 18th and 19th centuries provide architectural contrast to the contemporary street art.

Perfect for travelers interested in urban art culture and contemporary creative movements. The format delivers expert-guided street art exploration in a compact three-day city break, with optional additions including Lysefjord cruise (electric vessel navigating beneath Preikestolen cliff) or dinner at RE-NAA (one of 148 three-Michelin-star restaurants worldwide, subject to availability). Part of the Underdogs of Art series exploring Norway's lesser-known cultural destinations.
