Your adventure continues on day 2 after enjoying breakfast at your hotel in Oslo. Prepare for a breathtaking ride on the Bergen Line, renowned for its stunning vistas and engineering marvels.
As the train departs, you'll soon find yourself winding through the beautiful Hallingdal valley, where lush landscapes and small villages provide a captivating backdrop. The journey then takes you across the Hardangervidda mountain plateau, Europe's largest high mountain plateau, offering awe-inspiring views of pristine nature. Keep your camera ready, especially as you approach Finse, the highest station on the line at 1222 meters above sea level.

Upon your arrival in Bergen, you'll be greeted by its charming setting created by the surrounding seven mountains. The city's hillsides, filled with colorful wooden houses and narrow cobbled streets, invite exploration and offer a warm welcome. After settling into your hotel, where you will spend the next 2 days, take the opportunity to explore Bergen on your own.

An excellent way to spend your evening is by exploring the historic Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can wander through the old wooden merchant buildings, now home to boutiques, studios, and eateries. If you're up for a little adventure, consider a twilight hike or funicular ride up to Mount Fløyen. It's the perfect way to cap off a day of scenic travel.

On day 3, you're presented with a full day to dive deeper into the enchanting city of Bergen and its stunning surroundings. Whether you choose to explore the city at your own pace or embark on one of our carefully selected excursions, today promises unforgettable experiences in the heart of Vestland province.

Mostraumen Fjord Cruise
Embark on a journey from Bergen through the 27-km long Osterfjord. As the vessel navigates the fjord, you'll witness the narrowing of the waters between steep mountainsides, leading you safely through the strong currents of the Mostraumen strait.

Dinner at Cornelius Seafood Restaurant
Venture just outside Bergen to Cornelius, one of Norway’s finest seafood restaurants. Located on the edge of a small island, Cornelius offers freshly caught seafood in a stunning setting with views of the fjord, mountains and passing marine life.

Journey to Flåm via the Nærøyfjord and Aurlandsfjord

On Day 4 of your journey, you transition from Bergen to the fjord village of Flåm. The day begins with a local train ride from Bergen to Voss. Upon arrival in Voss, a connecting bus is ready to escort you through the scenic mountain landscapes to the Gudvangen valley, offering you a front-row seat to the captivating Nærøy canyon's vistas.

The highlight of the day is undoubtedly the fjord cruise from Gudvangen, which takes you on a journey through the inner branches of the Sognefjord. On the journey through the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord, flanked by steep mountainsides, you might glimpse old farms clinging to the cliffs above. As the cruise continues, you'll enter the majestic Aurlandsfjord where the landscape opens up.

The day concludes as you disembark in Flåm, a charming village nestled at the heart of the fjords. Here, you'll spend the night, allowing you to fully soak in the atmosphere and stunning scenery that surrounds you. You can choose to stay at either the historic Fretheim Hotel, where *dinner is included in your stay, or the charming Flåmsbrygga Hotel, located next to the local brewery pub Ægir.

Flåm Railway and scenic return to Oslo

As your tour draws to a close, day 5 ensures that the final leg of your journey is as captivating as the rest of your adventure. Add a fast-paced RIB-boat wildlife safari at check-out for an unforgettable early-morning adventure. Departing from Flåm, this thrilling experience offers a choice of 1.5-hours or 2-hours and 15-minutes of stunning views, taking you through the Aurlandsfjord to the mouth of the Nærøyfjord.


At noon the renowned Flåm Railway, one of the steepest standard gauge railway lines in the world, will transport you to Myrdal. Keep your camera at the ready for the waterfalls and the beauty of the Flåm River that accompany you along the route.

Upon reaching Myrdal, you'll transition to the Bergen Line for the journey back to Oslo. This segment of your return takes you across the majestic Hardangervidda mountain plateau, offering expansive views of Norway's wild and wintery highlands.
