Oslo cultural tours: Where city meets creative wilderness

This 3-day Oslo art tour moves from the capital's museum quarter to the countryside architecture landmark at Kistefos. Two nights in central Oslo with a 48-hour Oslo Pass (unlimited public transport plus free entry to museums), an included guided tour at Kistefos Museum featuring the Twist gallery, and access to historic Hadeland Glassverk.

The Oslo Pass provides entry to the MUNCH Museum housing Norway's largest Edvard Munch collection and the National Museum covering Norwegian art from antiquity to contemporary works. Your day trip includes the Best of Kistefos guided tour through the sculpture park where international artists share space with the BIG-designed Twist gallery – a 60-meter aluminum structure spanning the river as both bridge and exhibition space. At Hadeland Glassverk, Norway's oldest working glass workshop since 1762, weekend visitors can try glassblowing under master guidance.

Perfect for art-focused travelers seeking both Oslo's established collections and contemporary architecture beyond the city. The tour delivers major museums through the Oslo Pass alongside exclusive countryside access, with optional Michelin dining available to enhance your urban exploration.
