Day three marks the beginning of the cruise journey as you board a Hurtigruten or Havila Voyages ship in the early evening for your Northern Lights cruise towards the Arctic town of Kirkenes. Before your maritime adventure starts, seize the opportunity to explore Tromsø further. Wander through the streets, visit a museum or two, and perhaps taste some local delicacies at a café overlooking the water.
As the day transitions into evening, make your way to the port where your ship awaits. Upon boarding, settle into your comfortable cabin, your home for the next two nights. Throughout your cruise, you'll be treated to an array of delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

As dawn breaks on day four of your journey, the cruise ship makes its way to the main port of Honningsvåg. This day offers a highlight of your trip: an included excursion to the exotic North Cape, known as Nordkapp, by sightseeing bus across the snow-covered landscapes of Magerøya island.
Upon arrival at the North Cape cliff, you are greeted by an awe-inspiring sight. The cliff rises an impressive 307 meters (1007 feet) above the Arctic Ocean, presenting a large, flat plateau at its summit. Here, you stand at the edge of the world, the northernmost point of Europe that one can reach by road.

On day five, your cruise journey concludes as you disembark in Kirkenes after breakfast. Known for its proximity to the Russian border, Kirkenes offers excellent opportunities for Northern Lights viewing. Here, you can choose from the following included activities: an Arctic husky experience, king crab fishing, or a snowmobile tour.
The highlight of your visit is an overnight stay at the Snow Hotel, a unique structure made entirely of ice and snow. You'll be transported from Kirkenes to the Snow Hotel, where you'll enjoy an Arctic dinner. Despite being crafted from snow, the hotel is near a warm service building with comfortable lounges, ensuring your Arctic adventure is both thrilling and comfortable.
Before bedtime, you'll receive instructions to ensure a warm and cozy night's rest in your snow-carved room—an unforgettable experience.

At the time of booking, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total price is required. This deposit is only refundable in the event that we are unable to confirm your booking.
For cancellations made up to 95 days before the departure date, there will be no additional charges beyond the deposit.
If cancellation occurs between 94 and 64 days before the departure date, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged.
For cancellations made between 63 and 47 days before departure, 75% of the total tour cost will be charged.
For cancellations made 46 days or later before departure, the full payment (100%) of the tour cost will be required.
The applicable cancellation policy for your tour will be clearly presented during the checkout process.
The best time to see the Northern Lights in Norway is between October and March. During these months, the nights are long and dark, providing ideal conditions for viewing the Aurora Borealis. While sightings can never be guaranteed, visiting northern regions like Tromsø or the Lofoten Islands during this period gives you the best opportunity to witness this natural wonder.
Summer: The weather in Norway is very variable, so pack for summer but also bring a warm sweater, good shoes, and wind- and waterproof clothing. Check the weather forecast before you travel to make packing easier.
Winter: Wool underwear, hat, gloves, scarf, down jacket, middle layer, and warm, preferably waterproof shoes.
Please note that on certain parts of the voyage, the Wi-Fi signal may be limited due to the remote locations in which the ships sail.
