DAY 1

First night in Oslo

Individual arrival to Oslo and check in at a centrally located hotel.
In Oslo you can visit the iconic Opera House, the spectacular Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Viking Ship Museum, the Holmenkollen Ski Jump.

DAY 2

Travel from Oslo to Flam

Bergen Line: morning departure by the scenic Bergen mountain train line through the scenic Hallingdal valley and across the Hardangervidda mountain plateau to the tiny Myrdal station.

Flam Railway: disembark at Myrdal station, walk across the platform and board the famous Flam Railway; an unforgettable descend from mountain to fjord through the spectacular Flam Valley, with mountain peaks, the beautiful Flam River, cascading waterfalls, a spectacular bridge & tiny farms.

Stegastein Viewpoint excursion
An unmissable sightseeing trip for any visitor to Flam. Travel by bus to the extraordinary and spectacular Stegastein Viewpont, 650 m above the fjord. A more amazing view of the fjord, mountains and surrounding landscape is hard to imagine.

DAY 3

Fjord cruise to Bergen

Today you will enjoy a fjord cruise on the entire Sognefjord, finishing in Bergen. Experience the spectacular inner parts of the fjord as well as the beautiful coastal scenery with islands, narrow straits & tiny settlements.
The boat takes you to the very heart of Bergen, close to the Fish Market. Check in at a centrally located hotel.

DAY 4

Full day in Bergen

Spend the day at leisure in Bergen – see the UNESCO Bryggen wharf, the Funicular to Mount Floyen offering a marvellous view of the town, the Fish Market, the Aquarium, picturesque areas with tiny wooden houses & narrow streets.

3 hour fjord cruise to Mostraumen strait
This spectacular tour from Bergen takes you up the 27-km long Osterfjorden in Hordaland province.  Underway, the fjord narrows between the steep mountains as you are brought safely through the strong currents of the shallow and narrow Mostraumen strait.

DAY 5

Travel to the Hardangerfjord

Morning departure by coach through beautiful local fjord & mountain scenery, passing the spectacular Steinsdalsfossen waterfall just before Norheimsund, where you change to the connecting express boat.
A scenic fjord cruise takes you to the beautifully located Hotel Ullensvang in Lofthus village. Room with fjord view & Buffet dinner included.

Day 6

Travel to Geilo & Mabodal canyon excursion

Starting with a fjord cruise to the tiny Eidfjord village in the inner part of the Hardangerfjord.

Mabodal canyon: A connecting coach takes you through the breathtaking Mabodal canyon to the edge of the Hardangervidda mountain plateau, with dramatic views of the impressive Voringsfossen waterfall.

Voringsfossen waterfall is among Norway’s most famous natural features, with a free-falling drop of approx. 180 m.

The coach takes you back to Eidfjord where you continue by fjord cruise to the beautifully located Ulvik fjord village, where you disembark.

Then by coach to the Voss train station, where you join the Bergen Line for a scenic journey to the mountain station of Geilo, where you check in at the close by, historic Dr Holm’s Hotel, just in time for dinner (included).

DAY 7

Travel to Oslo

Enjoy a relaxing breafast buffet at the hotel before you board the Bergen line train for a 4-hour trip to Oslo, taking you through the scenic Hallingdal valley.
Check in at the same hotel as per day 1.
