A creative escape – from sculptures to glassblowing

Your day begins with a relaxed bus journey from Oslo to Kistefos Museum – home to one of Europe’s most exciting sculpture parks and the striking Twist gallery. Your ticket includes the Best of Kistefos guided tour, where you’ll hear the story behind the site, the vision that shaped it, and get up close with some of the park’s most iconic artworks. When the tour ends, you’re free to explore at your own pace – or take a breather in the café surrounded by nature and art.

Next up, a quick bus ride takes you to Hadeland Glassverk, a charming lakeside gem where they've been creating beautiful glass since 1762. Weekend visitors can even try glassblowing themselves. Make sure you browse the shops, galleries, and grab a coffee or something to eat at one of their 6 amazing dining spots while your soaking it all in.

Only a 3-4 minute walk from Hadeland Glassverk brings you to your cozy hotel for the evening. Your stay includes a delicious three-course dinner right at the hotel – no need to venture out unless you want to! Settle in for a peaceful night surrounded by lush, green scenery.

Return to the city

Start your day with a breakfast at the hotel before heading out to explore more of Hadeland Glassverk or the beautiful area around. Take your time browsing the galleries and shops, or enjoy a quiet moment by the lake with a coffee in hand.

In the afternoon, the bus takes you back to Oslo.

Once back in the city and you've checked into your hotel, head out and soak up more of what Oslo has to offer. A stroll along Aker Brygge is always a good idea, especially in the evening light. Or dive into Oslo’s vibrant bar scene – from cozy corners to rooftop views. No matter what you choose, there’s always something new to discover.

Saying goodbye to Oslo

The last day has arrived, and its time to say goodbye til Oslo. Spend the day exploring what you have yet to see. Explore the famous Vigeland Park, and see the incredible statues that fill the park, or perhaps some vintage shopping in Grünerløkka's charming streets. The neighborhood's got character, with independent shops and cozy cafés where you can grab a proper coffee and watch the world go by.
