By train: From the Oslo central station by the Bergen line, the entire journey takes approximately 7 hours. The famous Flam Railway is a sideline from Myrdal mountain station

We recommend road #7 across the beautiful Hardangervidda mountain plateau (National Park), where you can make a stop at the specacular Voringfoss waterfall and the Maabodal canyon, and you drive along the scenic Hardangerfjord. The entire trip takes approximately 7 to 8 hours. Add time for stops en route. We do not recommend driving across the mountains during the winter months.
