Your first night in Oslo is an invitation to immerse yourself in the Norwegian way of life. Whether you're exploring the city's museums, admiring the view from Holmenkollen, or strolling through the Vigeland Park, Oslo offers a warm welcome to all who venture through its streets.

Your second day starts with a morning departure. Oslo to Bergen via fjords never looked so good! Board the Bergen Line Flåm Railway tour for what we modestly call Norway's most spectacular train journey. The train ascends to the Hardangervidda mountain plateau, offering spectacular views. At 1300 meters above sea level, this is Northern Europe's highest mainline railway.

Watch the landscape transform from urban cool to mountain majesty as you climb to 1,300 meters. At Myrdal, switch to the world-famous Flåm Railway for a dramatic descent that'll have you glued to the window. Then it's onto your Sognefjord cruise 4 days highlight – a boat ride through Norway's longest and deepest fjord to reach the charming Balestrand Norway hotel scene at the historic Kviknes.

Travel by boat and famous railways to Oslo

Your fourth day starts with a serene fjord cruise into the heart of the Sognefjord, leading you to the quaint village of Flåm. Prepare for an unforgettable journey on the Flåm Railway, a marvel of engineering that ascends from the fjord's edge to the mountainous heights. The railway offers a unique vantage point to experience the picturesque Flåm Valley.

The adventure continues as you reach Myrdal mountain station and transfer to the main Bergen Line for your journey to Oslo. A highlight of this leg is the stop at Finse Station, the highest point of the line at an altitude of 1222 meters above sea level. From there, your route across the magnificent Hardangervidda mountain plateau and through the verdant Hallingdal valley is a fitting conclusion to your scenic explorations.

Upon arrival in Oslo, check into your centrally located hotel for a night of rest and reflection. The tour ends after breakfast and check-out from the hotel next morning.

At the time of booking, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total price is required. This deposit is only refundable in the event that we are unable to confirm your booking.

For cancellations made up to 46 days before the departure date, there will be no additional charges beyond the deposit.

If cancellation occurs between 45 and 17 days before the departure date, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged.

For cancellations made 16 days or later before departure, the full payment (100%) of the tour cost will be required.

Please note, the applicable cancellation policy for your tour will be clearly presented during the checkout process.

Regional trains are equipped with a café or bistro car, where you can purchase hot and cold beverages, snacks and light meals. Options may vary depending on the route and the service provider. On certain trains or routes where a café or bistro service might not be available, vending machines stocked with snacks and drinks can be found onboard.
