DAY 1

First night in Bergen

Individual arrival and check in at a centrally located hotel in the picturesque coastal town of Bergen, beautifully located by the Bergen Byfjord, with mountains and hillsides with tiny wooden houses, and narrow streets.
Bergen is today Norway’s most international city, packed with history and tradition. Ever since King Olav Kyrre sailed into the charming harbour and founded the city in the year of 1070, Bergen has attracted people from all over the world.

DAY 2

Full day in Bergen

Spend the day at leisure in Bergen. Visit the UNESCO Bryggen wharf, take the Funicular to Mount Fløyen with a marvellous view of the city below.
Make sure to visit the authentic areas, which you find at the Nordnes peninsula, the hillside around the Funicular city station, at the Marken area close to the train station, as well as in the Sandviken & Skuteviken areas.

3-hour fjord cruise to Mostraumen strait
This spectacular tour from Bergen takes you up the 27-km long Osterfjord in Vestland province. Underway, the fjord narrows between steep mountains as you are brought safely through the strong currents of the shallow and narrow Mostraumen strait.

Dinner at Cornelius Seafood Restaurant
Just outside the city of Bergen, you will find Cornelius, one of Norway’s best seafood restaurants. It is situated right by the sea on a small island with spectacular views of the fjord, mountains, skerries, and passing boats and ships. Nothing beats the taste and texture of seafood that has just been caught from the cold and clear waters.

DAY 3

Bergen to Oslo

Sognefjord cruise
Morning departure by express boat, cruising along the scenic coast north of Bergen, passing through narrow straits, islands, summer houses and tiny villages.
Then into the majestic Sognefjord, cruising to the inner branch of the Sognefjord; the Aurlandsfjord, and the fjord village of Flåm. Disembark before a short walk to the tiny train station.

Flåm Railway
Board the famous Flåm Railway for an unforgettable journey from fjord to mountain – taking you through the scenic Flåm Valley, with the beautiful river, cascading waterfalls, mountain peaks and tiny farms.

Bergen Line & Oslo
At the Myrdal mountain station you change to the main Bergen Line.
After a short journey you arrive to the Finse Station; the highest point of the line at an altitude of 1222 m above sea level.
Then across the spectacular Hardangervidda mountain plateau & through the scenic Hallingdal valley to Oslo.
Check in at a centrally located hotel.

DAY 4

Oslo fjord cruise

Enjoy the scenic Oslofjord on a sightseeing fjord cruise and get an overview of the city and its attractions. The fjord cruise boat departs from Rådhusbrygge pier in front of the Oslo City Hall, passing the Opera House & the new Bjørvika waterfront, beautiful islands, narrow straits, tiny summer houses and elegant villas.
Spend the rest of the day exploring Oslo on your own.

Fjord Safari & stay in Flåm
Add an extra night in Flåm and experience the beautiful Aurlandsfjord and the UNESCO Nærøyfjord on a scenic RIB boat trip from Flåm.
Get closer to nature and see small villages and waterfalls along the way. Perhaps you will also see seals, porpoises and sea eagles. Your guide will share stories, local history and tales from this spectacular area.
This is a soft adventure suitable for the whole family.
