Return to Oslo - A Scenic Farewell
The final day of your adventure begins with a scenic coach trip from Ålesund, navigating through picturesque local fjord areas to reach the charming fjord village of Åndalsnes. From Åndalsnes, embark on a train journey on board the Rauma Line. This route takes you through the Rauma valley, where you'll be captivated by views of the imposing Troll Wall mountain cliff, the winding Rauma River, and the engineering marvel of its bridges.
The journey continues as you change trains at Dombås Mountain station to board the main Dovre Line. This leg of your return to Oslo will take you through the stunning Gudbrandsdal valley. Dovrefjell is home to musk oxen brought from Greenland to repopulate the area. Maybe you'll catch a glimpse of them from the train if you're lucky.
Upon arrival in Oslo and check-in at your centrally located hotel, the evening is yours to enjoy. The tour ends after breakfast and check-out from the hotel next morning.
