DAY 1 – Flight to Alesund

Flight to Alesund from Oslo. The city has around 50 000 inhabitants and is one of the most important fishing harbours in Norway. In the city centre you can visit shops, galleries and restaurants or just stroll around in this beautiful city. After a devastating fire in 1904 which destroyed most of the old wooden buildings, the town was completely rebuilt. As a result, Alesund’s architecture has a unique concentration of Art Nouveau – Jugendstyle.

DAY 2 – Cruise to Geirangerfjord

Travel by boat to Geiranger. This beautiful journey from Alesund to Geiranger is around 120 km long. Take a closer look at the famous waterfalls “The Seven Sisters”, “The Bridal Veil” and “The Suitor”, the majestic fjord cliffs and abandoned mountain farms. Perhaps you will be lucky enough to see porpoises playing in the fjord. Time to explore the small village of Geiranger before you return to Alesund.

You can take the airport bus to Alesund Airport. Check in for your flight to Oslo.
