PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING
Participating in the hiking trip is not associated with danger or high risks. However, accidents may arise and could inflict participants and/or participants’ equipment, like other low-risk activities. Our supplier has highly qualified guides, and will provide necessary safety equipment. However, participating in the hiking trip is at your own risk and you are responsible for possible injuries on person or own equipment. Fjord Travel and our supplier disclaim any liability and action for damages participants or relatives will promote against Fjord Travel or our supplier.
Participants are obliged to follow guidelines and instructions given by the guide ahead or during the trip. Participants are also obliged to be in good physical- and mental health and to bring all required equipment. By booking the hiking trip the participant confirms to have good enough physical- and mental health to participate.
Gear and snacks
Hikers should be prepared with clothes and shoes for rainy weather. Hiking boots are strongly encouraged, or approach shoes, at the very least. Other suggestions include warm, windproof and waterproof clothing. Bring some water and food/snacks with you. Last but not least, each hiker is responsible for carrying his/her own gear, so a suitable backpack is recommended.
Participants are responsible for holding their own travel insurance, and any additional insurance for participating on the hiking trip.
