DAY 1

First night in Oslo

Individual arrival and check in at a centrally located hotel.
In Oslo you can visit the iconic Opera House, the spectacular Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Viking Ship Museum (closed for rebuilding to 2025/2026 – artefacts from the Viking Age can be seen at The Historic Museum in the city centre), the Holmenkollen Ski Jump.

DAY 2

Travel to Arctic Kirkenes

Morning flight to the Arctic town of Kirkenes, situated by the Barents Sea close to the Russian border. Kirkenes is ideally located in the middle of the Northern Lights zone.
Transfer to Snowhotel Kirkenes and check in at an elegantly designed wooden Gamme cabin. The package includes dinner and breakfast at Låven Restaurant.

Dog sledding trip

Enjoy a 1-hour dog sledding ride along the fjord in the scenic Sandnesdalen valley, with a seasoned musher. Experience the amazing Arctic scenery without engine noise – your husky team will pull you there in the traditional and environmental way.

What to bring: Comfortable shoes, warm and windproof clothing (special clothing will be provided).
Age restrictions: Min. 7 years old and accompanied by an adult.
Difficulty level: Average physical condition – involves physical activity on uneven surface and/or steep terrain. Not suitable if you have limited mobility.

DAY 3

Snowmobile trip

Learn how to drive a snowmobile. Experienced guides will give you a proper snowmobile training session, before going off on a 5-km drive along the fjord. 2 persons share one snowmobile and you get the chance to switch seats halfway.

What to bring: Comfortable shoes, warm and windproof clothing (special clothing will be provided).
Age restrictions: Min. 10 years & accompanied by an adult.
Notices: Guests under 18 & guests without a driving license are not allowed to drive the snowmobiles.
Difficulty level: Average physical condition – involves physical activity on uneven surface and/or steep terrain. Not suitable if you have limited mobility.

DAY 4

Return to Oslo

Breakfast at the Snowhotel restaurant, then transfer to the airport for your flight to Oslo. Overnight at a centrally located hotel in Oslo.
Spend 1 night in Oslo (included in the tour price)

Optional add-ons:
• Sightseeing in Oslo
• Add nights in Oslo before or after the trip, at the same hotel as for the tour.
